About my work |
I am here to bring joy and tranquility to your service users. The sessions I offer can help them stay healthy, stay positive, and stay calm. I use the power of music to overcome resistance to movement, to regulate emotions, and to counteract loneliness by encouraging human connection and interaction. In addition to movement, the sessions also include singing, drawing, writing, poetry, etc.
Over the years I have worked with many different groups in a wide variety of educational, health and community settings. I have also contributed to staff development days, employee wellbeing programmes (e.g. training days organised by Creativity Works & Alive Activities), and Arts in Health Conferences. My background is in music, education, community arts, counselling, community mental health, Eastern psychology and dance-movement for health and wellbeing. Qualifications: BAHons Music, Ad Dip Counselling, CCMH Mental Health, HND Community Arts, FAETCII Further & Adult Education, IBF Biocentric Dance Movement Facilitation Training & Teacher-Training |
I work with all sorts of people wherever they are, e.g.
